India announced 15 member U19 squad for coming 2020 U19 World Cup in 2020 January at South Africa from January 17, 2020. India is defending Champion of U-19 World Cup. India is in group A along New Zealand, Sri Lanka and Japan. India have won ICC U19 World Cup 4 times . India won in 2000,2008, 2012 and 2018 .
India U19 squad will be led by Garg who plays for UP in domestic set up and have played 12 first-class matches for average of 66.69 and scored a double hundred .
17 Years old Yashasvi Jaiswal who scored 203 runs in October in Vijay Hazare Trophy.In Pace attack India have Sushant Mishra, Kartik Tyagi,Akash Singh and Visyadhar Patil .
In spin department India U19 squad have services of Atharva Ankolekar and Shubhang Hedge as off spinner and leg spinner Ravbi Bishnoi .
India will play a three One Day series vs South Africa in South Africa.India U19 team will also take part in Quadrangular series featuring Zimbabwe, New Zealand and South Africa
