The 29 years old Olympic and Wimbledon Champion Andy Murray has been chosen Great Britan Team Flag bearer at Openning Ceremony of Rio Olympics 2016.Other Contender for Great Britain Flag bearer position were boxer Nicola Adams and rower Katherine Grainger.
Andy Murray was Great Britain Tennis team which won Davis Cup in November 2015.
Andy Murray won silver medal along side Laura Robson at the London Olympics 2012 Games.
Murray is seeded second in both men’s single and doubles with brother Jamie.
A British Olympic Association panel seleced Murray for Flag bearer of Great Britain.In London Olympics Cyclist Sir Chris Hoy led Team Great Britain to Olympic Stadium in LondonOlympics 2012.In Winter Olympics 2014 at Sochi Speed skater Jon Eley was selected flag bearer of Great Britain.
