South Africa won the toss and elected to bowl first. Bangladesh batsmen especially Shakib ul Hassan, the world no 1 all-rounder, with Mushfiq in 3rd wicket partnership set the platform for over 300 runs. Bangladesh scored 330 runs in 50 over.
