Additionally, the 19-year-old Indigenous player has proven to be a strong batsman, having been the top-scorer in the Under 19 Female National Championships. Disha Biswas is a key player on the national cricket team as a medium-pace all-rounder and team captain. She is one of four players on the squad with experience on the senior team, having previously toured New Zealand with the main squad in November. Biswas has recently demonstrated her all-round abilities by taking eight wickets, including a five-wicket haul, in a series against Malaysia Under 19 and also contributed to the team’s success with an unbeaten 43 runs in one of the matches.
