Pakistan Squad  U19 CWC 1988 Hero of 1992 CWC. In 1988 first Youth World Cup was played in Australia  from   28 February  to  13 March 1988.

The 1988 McDonald’s Bicentennial Youth World Cup  was organized by ACB. Pakistan U19  Team lost final  vs Australia U19 by 5 wickets.Total 8 teams Participated in the event seven test playing nation and one  combined team from  associates countries.Australian Batsman Brett Williams was top scorer  and Wayne Holdsworth and Mushtaq Ahmed were leading wicket takers.

U19 Squad of  U19 CWC 1988   gave some prominent player of ICC CWC 1992 .In final  CWC92 Pakistan defeated England in final. The winning squad  1992 has player Aqib Javed, Mohammad Mushtaq and Inzamam-Ul-Haq

Zahoor Elahi, Basit  Ali also  became integral part of Pakistan ODI and Test Team.

Shahid Anwar was most runs scorer from Pakistan in 9 innings he scored 300 runs  with average of 33.33 and Inzamam Ul Haq scored 223 runs in 9 innings .Inzamam highest score was 43*.Zahoor Elahi scored 235 runs and  Shahid Nawaz  190.
