LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the schedule for the remaining matches of the HBLPSL 2020, which was delayed due to the Corona epidemic.

According to the details, the remaining matches of the event were postponed on March 17 due to prevention of Corona virus epidemic. The rescheduling schedule has been issued.

The remaining four matches of the event will be played on November 14, 15 and 17 in Lahore. On November 14, the event’s qualifiers and Element One will be played on a double-header basis. The next day is Elementary Two and the final will be on Tuesday, November 17.

The dates of the remaining matches of the event have been finalized in consultation with the four teams – Multan Sultans, Karachi Kings, Lahore Qalandars and Peshawar Zalmi – while the start time of the matches will be announced later.

The remaining four matches of the event will be played under the Coveted 19 protocols where all players, match officials and relevant staff will live in a bio-secure environment. Currently all four matches are planned to be played behind closed doors but a final decision will be made in October. ۔

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chief executive Wasim Khan said that after this announcement, not only all speculations will die down but now all the teams have ample time to prepare for these matches. Currently, the most important thing is for the teams participating in the tournament to record these dates in their diaries.

He further said that the announcement of holding the remaining four matches of HBLPSL 2020 also confirms that Pakistan has managed to control the epidemic of coveted 19, like other sports, the domestic cricket season 21-2020. Home series with Zimbabwe and South Africa will also be played, including competitions for various age groups, men’s and women’s cricket. Successful domestic season 21-20 matches will be held in February, March next year. SL will be helpful for 2021, we look forward to sharing the joy on the faces of the people.

Out of the four teams in the remaining matches of HBLPSL, only Peshawar Zalmi has won the event before.

HBLPSL 2020 is the second largest tournament held in Pakistan after the Asia Cup 2008. The total prize money of the event is set at US لاکھ 1 million. The winning team of the event will receive a trophy and a prize money of US پانچ 500,000. The runner-up is set at 2 200,000.
