Rio Olympics 2016: Day 2 Medals position and table

On 2nd day of Olympics 2016 August 6 Australia is on top with three gold medal total five medals.Italy and China are on second spot with two gold medal and total 7 medals total in Rio Olmpic on day 2nd .South Korea has won two Gold medals and five medals total on day Two of Rio Olympics 2016.
Event decided on day two are as following.
Women’s 10-meter air pistol shooting.
The 25 years old China Mengxua Zhang won gold medal with 199.4 points.Russia Vitalina Batsarashkina won silver medal in women’s 10-meter shooting with 197.1 points.Anna Korakaki of Greece win bronze medal with 177.7 points.Tjhis was first Gold medal of Rio Olympics 2016 Games.
Cycling Women’s Road Race
Dutch cyclist Anna van der Bregan won gold medal ,Sweden Emma Johnsson won silver medals and Elisa Longo Borghini of Italy won bronze medal.
Weightlifting Women’s 53-kilogram
Chinese Taipei Shu-Ching Hsu won gold medal in 53 kg category.Ching-Hsu lifted 467.3 pounds ,Hidilyn Diaz lifted total of 440.9 pounds and Jin Hee Yoonlifted 438.7 pounds.

Australia’s Catherine Skinner won gold medal and Natalie Rooney of New Zealand won silver medals.
USA Corey Cogdell-Unrein won bronze medal.
Women’s Synchronized 3-meter springboard
Minxia and Shi Tingmao of China won gold medal in Women’s Synchronized 3-meters spring board.Chinese team scored 345.60 points in final.Italy’s Tania Cagnotto and Francesca Dallape earned silver medal with 313.83 points.Australia MAddison Keeney and Annabelle Smith too bronze medals with 299.19 points.
Women Judo 52 Kg.
Majlida KElmendi of Kosovo won gold medal in 52 kg Judo event.Italy’s Odette Guiffrida won silver medals and Bronze medals went to Japan’s Misato Nakamura and Natalia Kuziutina of Russia.
Women Team Archery.
South Korea team won archery final in Rio Olympic 2016 and won gold medal.South Korea has won archery since 1988 Seoul Olympics .Korea beat Russia in final by 5-1.Russia archery team got silver and Bronze went to Chinese Taipei.
