Burling and Tuke will lead around sixty members of the New Zealand team into the Maracana Stadium for Rio Olympics 2016. Burling and Tuke were silver medalist in London Olympics 2012.Now they are favorite for Golf in #Rio2016 in 49er class.They have 27 straight victories including four World Championship titles.
Burling have participated in three olympics games. Both Will wear traditional Kakahu (cloaks).Both athletes were presented with the cloaks by New Zealand Olympic Team Chef de Mission Rob Waddell and Governor General His Excellency the Rt. Hon. Lt. Gen. Sir Jerry Mateparae at a function that included a bateria (samba drumming group) from Rio de Janeiro’s Mangueira community. New Zealand team has been working with Mangueira Community during their time in Rio.
