Rohit Sharma has joined the exclusive club of batsmen with 11,000 ODI runs. He reached the milestone in his 269th ODI, during the match against Bangladesh in Dubai. Needing just 12 runs to achieve the feat, Sharma reached the mark in style. He now stands as the second-fastest Indian batsman to reach this landmark.
Sharma took 261 innings to accumulate his 11,000 runs. Virat Kohli remains the fastest Indian to the milestone, having reached it in just 222 innings. In terms of balls faced, Sharma took 11,868 deliveries to reach 11,000 runs, while Kohli took 11,831 balls.
