The 16 years old Laurie Hernandez is the Breakout star in Rio Olympics 2016.She is the youngest member of the United States Women’s gymnastics team.Laurie Hernandez was member of Us team who won gold medal in team event by margin of 8 points.Since Room Olympic 1960 this the biggest margin between winnwr and runner up.

Hernandez’s road to Rio 2016 was very tough and troubled. . She’s broken her right wrist twice and fractured her left elbow once before Rio Olympics 2016. Hernandez dislocated her right kneecap and tore her patellar tendon after she landed awkwardly on a vaul.Hernandez now has a cadaver’s tendon in her kne.she had to refrain from solid foods for a few weeks after smashing her teeth against the uneven bars.
She’s Known as the “Human Emoji”:Laurie is a second-generation American, and her grandparents are from Puerto Rico. Laurie has been working with the same coach, Maggie Haney, for her entire career.
She is learning gymnastinc since age of 5 .
On August 9, Hernandez as a member of the US team, known as the Final Five, won the gold medal in the Team All Around, beating out Russia and China.
