Russian swimmer Yulia Efimova broke down to tears after losing to USA swimmer Lilly King in 100m breast stroke. Lilly King won gold medal and Yulia Efimova has to content on silver medal.
Efimova was banned for doping for a period of 16 month from 2013 to Febrauary 2015.she was disqualified from October 31, 2013, until February 28, 2015. Her positive test was for DHEA a steroid harmon banned by professional sports.

Efimova failed a test for melodonium earlier this year .
She was initially banned from participation due to the previous doping suspensions, but this ban was overturned by the International Olympic Committee.

Yulia Yefimova has competed for Russia in three Olymics 2008,2012 and 2016.In 2012 london Olympics she won bronze medal in 200 meters breaststroke and in Rio de Janeiro she won silver medal in 200 meters breast stroke.
At Barcelona 2013 FINA World Championship she won gold medal in 50 and 200 meters breaststroke. She set world record in short course 50 and 200 meters breaststroke.
King’s time of 1:04.93 set the new Olympic record .Previous record 1:05.17 was set by Australia’s Leisel Jones at the 2008 Beijing Olympics. Efimova finished in 1:05.50, and American Katie Meili claimed the bronze (1:05.69) in Rio Olympic games.
