It was Superb 113 by Ahmed with well timed and well played stokes all around the ground. He hit 12 bourndeis . younas scored some runs but still not looking at his best. the way he got out after hitting a six is not a good sight. Asad doesnt suit Odi. no pressure today. got a solid platform but failed to score much. Haris once again was very impressive. got a good platform & no pressure so made the most of it.
Today It was great batting line-up gripping and the chapter that was added in Sharjah could well be a blueprint of how to build an ODI innings. The first one who started is the Ahmed Shehzad who scored 3rd ODI 100. it was supplemented by a stroke-filled fifty from stand-in captain Shahid Afridi as Pakistan rocketed to 364 for 7 – their third highest total in 50-over cricket and the highest in Sharjah in 218 matches.
