Athletics Entry Standard for Rio Olympics Games 2016
IAAF has set a minimum Athletics Entry Standard for Rio Olympics Games 2016.Every country can send maximum three athletes in the same event.Qualification period for majority of events runs from 1 May 2015 to 11 July 2016.Marathon,race walk and combined events period began 1 January 2015 to 11 July 2016.
For relay events 100 x 4 for men and Women standard are diffrent.Total 16 teams are allowed .Eight team will be selected from top 8 teams in 2015 IAAF World Relays championship.
Remaing 8 teams will be selected according to the ranking at the end of qualification period.
