According to the PCB, the selection panel consisting of 5-member panel comprising Alam, Bazid Khan, Asad Ali Khan, Wasim Khan and Zakir Khan unanimously presented the name of Misbah-ul-Haq, the names of the two coaches approved by the chairman. The PCB is kindly given.
The first assignment, along with Misbah-ul-Haq and Waqar Younis’s national cricket team, will be a series against Sri Lanka, 3 one-dayers and 3 Twenty20 matches against the Islanders starting September 27.
Misbah-ul-Haq will also serve as the Chief Selector with the Head Coach. The former captain will create a pool of cricketers for the national teams with the help of the head coach of the six provincial teams.
