In Rio Olympics Women’s beam gymnastci event Sanne Weavers of Netherlands won gold medals. Weavers performance shattered the dream of USA gymnast Simone Bile another gold medal in Rio Olympic 2016.In Women beam gymnastics event
Sanne Wevers won gold medal with 15.266 points.Laurie Hernandez of Unites States won Silver medal with 15.333 point and Simone Biles won Bronze medal with 14.733 points
Sanne Wevers is Bronze medalist in European Championship in uneven bars. She is silver medalist in Balance beam in World Championship held at Glasgow.She was not part of Ducth team in 2008 Summer Olympics Beijing.She could not compete in London Olympic 2012 due to fitness problems.
She won Dutch national championship on beam with score of 15.650 in 2016 .
In July Wevers became part of Dutch gymnastics team along with his sister Lieke.
