Shadab Khan will Lead Pakistan as Captain in 1st T20 Match. Shadab Khan will lead the first T20 against New Zealand.
According to sources, league spinner Shadab Khan has got rid of fitness problems and he practiced hard in the training session yesterday while proving his fitness by participating in batting, bowling and fielding drills. The team management has also breathed a sigh of relief when Shadab Khan got fit.
Head Coach Misbah-ul-Haq also gave initial consultations to Shadab Khan regarding the possible playing XI for the first match. Shadab Khan, who has the experience to lead Islamabad United in PSL matches, will be on the field for the first time to toss for the national team.
The first T20 match against New Zealand will be played on Friday. With national team captain Babar Azam out of the series, there was a question mark over leadership.
