Rohit Sharma has joined the exclusive club of batsmen with 11,000 ODI runs. He reached the milestone in his 269th ODI, during the match against Bangladesh in Dubai. Needing just 12 runs to achieve the feat, Sharma reached the mark in style. He now stands as the second-fastest Indian batsman to reach this landmark.
Virat Kohli has added another feather to his cap, equaling Mohammad Azharuddin’s record for the most ODI catches taken by an Indian fielder. Kohli needed just two catches to reach the milestone of 156, a figure Azharuddin achieved in 334 ODIs. Kohli, however, reached this mark in significantly fewer games, his 298th ODI.
