The West Indies team, including Jannillea Glasgow and Trishan Holder, recently competed in a quadrangular series in Visakhapatnam against the India Under-19 A and B teams and Sri Lanka. They then played a series of matches against the New Zealand Women’s Development team in Navi Mumbai. However, the team struggled with their batting during these games. Holder is the only player on the squad with previous international experience, having debuted for Barbados in the Commonwealth Games last year. Djenaba Joseph has also played in four T20Is for the senior team, while Glasgow has received a call-up to the West Indies squad but has yet to make her international debut.

England Women U19 Key Players

 Grace Scrivens, Ryana MacDonald-Gay, and Sophia Smale, who bring experience from The Hundred, with MacDonald-Gay and Smale having won it with Oval Invincibles in 2022 and Scrivens and Hannah Baker having played for Welsh Fwi and London Spirit respectively. Additionally, MacDonald-Gay had a successful performance in a T20 warm-up match against the Indian senior team last September with a six-wicket haul.
